The Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce

Savour the Spirits Update
The inaugural event hosted by the hospice was an incredible afternoon that profiled local foods, wines, beers and ciders from Grey and Bruce counties.

Food suppliers such as Casero’s, Grilled In Action, the Bleeding Carrot, Rosina’s and Cobble Beach will be offered samples of their cuisine. Breweries like Kilannan, Neustadt Brewery and MacLean’s Ales shared samples of their own. All of this was in support of the construction of Chapman House! We would like to thank all our vendors, sponsors and patrons who helped us raise $22,000 for our project!

Thanks to 92.3 The Dock for helping to spread the word about this tasty event!
Holiday Tour of Homes
Each year, the organizers of the Holiday Tour of Homes select local charities to support as part of their commitment to the community. This year, proceeds from the event will support the construction of Chapman House!

See and experience the magic as you tour six selected homes that have been professionally dressed by area decorators. Join us afterward at Cobble Beach to enjoy music of the season, holiday treats and refreshments, as well as a chance to win door prizes and be part of our great Holiday Bucket Draw.

  • Dates: November 26 & 27, 2016
  • Location: TBD & Cobble Beach

Thanks to Pars & Guitars
Once more we find ourselves expressing our sincere appreciation to the entire team that made the second annual Pars & Guitars an incredible success. The charity golf tournament, in memory of Geoff Stevens, raised an incredible $33,000 for the hospice.

Days like the one we shared earlier this summer - with golf, music, memories, food, live & silent auctions and dancing - take a great deal of planning. We know months of effort went in to making that one day perfect, and it means so much to all of us at the hospice that you chose us to benefit from your hard work.
Derby Public School Donation
We received a donation from the students and staff from Derby Public School that will make a big difference for families who are visiting a patient. With the school closing, the students at Derby sold their school jerseys to raise money for the Hospice and GBHS.

For the Hospice, the proceeds of the sale were used to purchase activities for young children who will visit loved ones but may need to take a moment away for themselves. Thank you to the students and the whole team at Derby Public School.
