An astute volunteer yesterday reminded me that the first place to stop the spread of germs and viruses is in our own hands.
RFC staff should be very aware of the moments for hand hygiene and be practising these all year long.
But volunteers may have never been exposed to this training.
There will be more training to come but I thought these resources might help remind those who know and equip those to whom this information is new with the skills to help prevent them form getting ill.
Attached is a pictogram about the proper way to wash your hands. Some of these are posted around Hospice but are great for staff and volunteers to start/refresh their hand hygiene practices.
