Hospice Video for Becky

Good afternoon all,

I think that we can all agree it was so wonderful getting that message from Becky this morning.

Now I’d love for our hospice family to put something together to send to her.

Getting all of us together is a pretty tricky task but just about all of us have phones that are capable of taking video.

So what I’d like to propose is that we put together a compilation of video greetings for Becky that she can watch when she’s missing us or needs her spirits raised.

ARE YOU WITH ME?

Either as individuals or in groups lets start capturing some videos and then I’m more than happy to be the one to edit them all together and maybe throw in a bit of music on my time.

Becky has a final chemo/radiation treatment next Thursday so I think it would be awesome if were able to send this to her that morning.

That means you have 8 days to record well wishes, tell cheesy jokes, silly dancing, sing or lipsync a song, do a skit, what ever you can think of that would bring a smile to her face or better yet one of those deep laughs that you can barely breath through.

What ever you’ve got pull out your phones and lets get it on video!

I’ll take videos up until 5:00pm next Wednesday March 6th and then I’ll do the editing that night and share the final piece with you all and Becky Thursday morning.

You can try emailing (rtaylor@greybrucehospice) or texting (519-379-2095) the videos to me but the files may be too big so you can also UPLOAD THEM HERE.

FRIENDLY REMINDERS

  • Cell phones are to be used by staff only when on breaks.

  • Be careful not to film any residents/visitors or confidential information.

We have lots of spaces at hospice both upstairs and downstairs where this can easily be avoided.

So lets get filming! It doesn’t need to be perfect, you don’t need to edit anything yourselves. In fact the more outtakes the better!

LET’S HAVE FUN WITH THIS AND SHOW OUR GIRL THAT WE’VE GOT HER BACK!
