Memorial DonationS


The families and friends of our residents often ask what they can do to express their appreciation to our highly skilled team of professionals. Naturally, we hope you will tell them directly how wonderful they are! Beyond that, though, for families that have the financial means to voluntarily assist us, we gratefully accept donations to help ensure we can continue to provide end-of-life care at no cost.

Please Note: Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce will send a letter acknowledging the names of those who have made donations in honour of their loved one approximately 4-6 weeks from the time of their death.

Legacy & Planned Giving

Gifts that involve a donation of stocks, securities, insurance, personal and real property in lieu of cash are accepted by Residential Hospice Grey Bruce. A tax receipt can be provided for the fair market value of these gifts. Please contact Fund Development Manager Rachel Taylor at or 519-370-7239 Ext. 109 for more information.


Planning a gift in a will that will help your community into the future can bring a sense of peace and joy. Planned gifts, or bequests, are major gifts left in a will that are intended for the future without affecting the donor’s current income. There are many different tax advantages to these types of gifts. Donors considering this type of gift are encouraged to first speak to their personal financial advisor and lawyer, and then contact our Fund Development Manager Rachel Taylor to discuss any questions.
